Mr. MA Jinnah issued the following message of condolence for the death of Allama Iqbal:
I'm really sorry to hear the sad news of the death of Sir Muhammad Iqbal. It was a remarkable world-renowned poet and his work will live forever. His service to his country and Muslims are so numerous that their background is comparable to most Indians who ever lived. He was a former president of the All India League and provincial president of the Muslim League Punjab Muslim until very recently, when his sudden illness forced him to resign. But it was the strongest and most faithful champion of politics and the Muslim League program of the All India.
For me, it was a friend, guide and philosopher during the darkest moments through which the Muslim League had to do, it was like a rock and started a moment and, therefore, only three days ago, has having read was informed of the entire unit has been reached in Kolkata Muslim leaders from Punjab and today I can proudly say that the Muslims of Punjab are in full agreement with the League and were under the banner the All India Muslim League, it must have been a great pleasure for him. In achieving this unity Sir Muhammad Iqbal was another part of the signal. My sincere and deepest sympathy are with his family in this time of mourning the loss of him, and is a terrible loss for India and Muslims in particular at this stage.

Mr. MA Jinnah told the sad news of the death of Dr. Sir Muhammad Iqbal had plunged the twilight world of Islam mourning. Sir Iqbal was certainly one of the greatest poets, philosophers and visionaries of the humanity of all time. He took an important part in the country's political life and the intellectual and cultural reconstruction of the Islamic world. His contribution to the literature and thought of the world will live forever.
"For me, it was a personal friend, philosopher and guide and the main source of my inspiration and spiritual support. While he was sick in bed is he who as president of the Provincial Muslim League Punjab is stood with a hand like a rock in the darkest days in the Punjab by the side of the flag of the League, undaunted by the opposition of the world total. When, because of his serious illness was confined to bed who resigned the president of the League of Punjab, but his boss was chosen. continuing to guide the work of the League of Punjab out of bed and had someone to answer all the cards on the League. It would have been great satisfaction reason for him to hear the news with great joy that the Muslims of Bengal and Punjab were absolutely united on the All India platform of the Muslim League. in this embodiment invisible contribution of Dr. Sir Muhammad Iqbal was the greatest. If I live to see the ideal of a Muslim state being produced in India and then offered to make a choice between the works of Iqbal and the government of the Muslim state, I prefer the former.
This opinion was expressed by President MA Jinnah the second session of "Iqbal Day" held in the Hall of the University of Lahore.
Continuing, Mr. Jinnah said that in April 1936, thought that the transformation of the Muslim League, which was then only an educational institution in a parliament of Muslims in India. From then until the end of his life, he continued, Iqbal was like a rock for him.
Iqbal, Mr. Jinnah said, was not only a great poet who had a permanent place in the history of the best literature of the world, was a dynamic personality who during his life, contributed most to awaken and develop national consciousness Muslim . Iqbal was described by several speakers not only as one of the greatest poets of the world, but also a political prophet who first envisioned the ideal of an independent Muslim state in India, in the celebrations as part of the Iqbal Day held in the University Hall, Lahore, under the auspices of the University Union.
Paying tribute to the memory of the poet, Mr. MA Jinnah said:
The message of Iqbal has reached the most remote corners of the world. He was the greatest interpreter of Islam in modern times.
"I have had the privilege and opportunity," he added, "to be associated with him. I never found a true and faithful friend than him. "

Each movement has a great philosopher Iqbal was the philosopher of National Awakening of Muslim India. Him in His work has left a legacy exhaustive and most valuable behind and a message not only to Musalmans but for the rest of the nations of the world.
Iqbal was a poet who inspired the Muslims with the spirit and determination to restore Islam to its former glory and although he is no longer with us, his memory will grow more and more young people with the progress and the development of Muslim India.
Its work should therefore be read and digested by every Muslim to create solidarity, and all should try to organize Muslims across India economically, educationall, socially and politically.

The following message was issued by MA Jinnah to celebrate Iqbal Day:
"Dare and Live" is the message of Iqbal. Optimism, industry, faith, confidence and courage are the principles on which it bases its philosophy and Iqbal he believes are essential for the purification of the human soul and the elevation of human character . Obstacles and setbacks of life, he says, makes life worthwhile. The sacrifices and losses and engaged in the service of a cause he right noble principles elevates one nation and makes the most glorious and life worth living.
Iqbal never believed in failure. he believed in the superiority of humanity over the rest that God created. In fact, he was convinced that man is a compilation of all that is best in God's universe. Only man does not know himself. The man has to use their potential and use them in the right direction for the realization of the "I" that is so close to God; and Islam is the code prescribed easy ways and means of achieving this.
Iqbal was not only a philosopher but also a practical politician. He was one of the first to develop the sustainability of the division of India into national lines that the only solution to the political problem of India. He was one of the most powerful precursors although tacit announcement of the modern political development of Muslim India.
Iqbal, therefore, rises above the average philosopher, as the essence of his teachings is a beautiful blend of thought and action. It combines in him the idealism and realism of a poet of a man who has a practical view of things. Iqbal in this commitment is essentially Islamic. In fact it is nothing but Islam. Therefore, the ideal is life according to the teachings of Islam with a slogan "Dare and Live."
I totally ends efforts Iqbal Day Committee in celebration of the poet on his birthday and hope and pray that each of us may be able to live by the ideals preached by Iqbal's beautiful national poems and now have incorporated the doctrine Pakistan in the heart and soul of Muslim India is burning bright, never turn off.

Iqbal was nothing more than a preacher and philosopher. I stayed for courage and action, perseverance and independence, especially faith in God and devotion to Islam. In his person the idealism and realism of human poet who has a practical view of things combined. Faith in God and the ceaseless and untiring action is the essence of your message. And in this really emerge Islam. He had a strong belief in Islamic principles, and success in life was to him the realization of "self," and to this end was the only way to follow the teachings of Islam. Your message is himanity action and self-realization.
Although a great poet and philosopher who was no less a practical politician. With its strong belief and faith in the ideals of Islam, was one of the few who originally thought about the viability of the stature of India as Islamic state in the Northwest and northern areas -Is that are countries of origin of Muslim history.
I totally sumo celebrations of this "Iqbal Day" and pray that we can live according to the ideals promoted by our national poet, so we can be able to reach and provide a convenient way to these ideals in our sovereign status Pakistan once established.
